Patterson was Ohio News Photographers Association Student Photographer of the Year and runner up for their Ohio Understanding Award in 2002. He has received two New England Newspaper Association Publick Occurences Awards and been recognized in NPPA's national and regional clips and multimedia clip contest. When not photographing, Patterson plays bagpipes with the Catamount Pipe Band. |
